Dr. Yoko Ishigami
I am a post-doctoral fellow, currently investigating effects of alertness on prism adaptation and effects of aging on attention. My areas of research interest include visual attention, its development, its disorders, its aging, and its individual differences. Attention is an umbrella term that covers concepts of alerting, orienting, and executive control. I am specifically interested in exploring their roles (especially alerting), interactions, and limitations in different contexts.
