To be considered for admission to this program, you must meet minimum academic criteria:
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
- Achievement of the minimum average for your program of choice.
- Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course).
Admission to many Â鶹´«Ã½ programs is competitive. This means that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

Program options
The BSc/BEng Concurrent Program combines an engineering degree with a deeper knowledge of mathematics, and provides a strong foundation for students interested in areas such as robotics, telecommunications, systems analysis, and modelling. Students may also obtain one or more certificates.

Studying Mathematics at Â鶹´«Ã½ prepares you for four main mathematical career paths: Applied and Computational, Pure, Actuarial, and Financial and Mathematics Education. However, mathematicians find careers in diverse fields.
Graduates often go on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematics because it offers the opportunity to complete an in-depth research project in their field of interest. However, an undergraduate degree in math also puts you in a good position if you want to pursue graduate studies in another scientific field.
