Rates & Bookings
User Fees and Bookings
The ICP-MS facility recovers the cost of argon, helium and other consumables through user fees. For either laser ablation or solution analysis, there is a flat rate of $150 per session for ICP warmup and tuning time, in addition to the hourly rate.
The expected number of laser ablation analyses (standards and unknowns) being 70-150 spots per 8-hour day. Normally, bookings will be done in units of four hour sessions.
