Recent Developments in Canadian Environmental Law with Elizabeth May, MP

The Marine & Environmental Law Institute (MELAW), the Schulich School of Law and the Â鶹´«Ã½ Environmental Law Students' Society invite you to hear Â鶹´«Ã½ Law alumna speak about recent developments in Canadian environmental law.

She will reflect on the 2023 Supreme Court of Canada decision in the Reference re Impact Assessment Act and anticipated legislative amendments; Bill C-266, an act to develop a national strategy on environmental racism and justice; and developments in the area of climate law from COP28.
