Me llamo Abigail, but you can call me Abi (she/her/Ella). I am a fourth-year Psychology student at Dal, minoring in Sociology and Social Anthropology. I am originally from New Brunswick. I learned Spanish while living in Mexico in my childhood. I am trilingual, but Spanish is my favourite language because it has the best music. Learning languages can be difficult, but I genuinely believe that conversation is the key. I can鈥檛 wait to help you all unlock the world of learning a new language.

Hola, amigos. Soy Flavia. I am a third-year Commerce student from Brazil at 麻豆传媒 and a proficient Portuguese speaker. However, I hold a strong passion for the Spanish language and culture. I joined the Spanish Foro because I am excited to engage with 麻豆传媒鈥檚 academic environment and assist students in improving their language skills. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, but I'm here to support you in overcoming those challenges and help you develop a love for Spanish, just as I have.

隆Hola! I am a third-year recreational therapy student completing a minor equivalent in Spanish. I have been learning Spanish since I was five and continued to learn it at the university as I have always loved learning more about the language. I am a volunteer tutor as I enjoy helping others and want to help others learn and enjoy the Spanish language.

I'm half Chilean and half Maltese, and although Spanish isn't my first language, I chose to volunteer to continue improving my Spanish and help others understand that learning a new language doesn't have to be scary. I hope I'm able to help all of you!

Hola! I am a third-year student majoring in psychology and history. I am from Lima, Peru, and 15 years ago, I came with my family to Canada. While in Canada, I have continued to stay connected to my Hispanic culture. I have spoken Spanish and English since I was young, but I have always loved Spanish. I love to help other people with their Spanish and connect with people who also love the language. I look forward to this semester and assisting students to improve their Spanish!

Hi, my name is Sophia; I鈥檓 currently in my last year of Psychology and Spanish. I am a Brazilian student who loves travelling, reading, and learning new languages! Spanish is my third language, and I know how hard it can be to get the hang of things while learning a new language, but I鈥檓 here to help!

Coming from another country and speaking four languages, I enjoy connecting with friends, mainly in Spanish. I have lived in Dartmouth my whole life and have gotten to know many Latinos living in Halifax. I am a peer tutor because I love helping people and having an opportunity to improve my own Spanish. I started learning Spanish from a young age through music, travel, and mission trips to South America.
