To celebrate 15 years of the Barley Ring, the Alumni Office is offering you the chance to win your Barley Ring by telling us what it means to you.听听
Who can enter
This contest is open to any member of the Faculty of Agriculture鈥檚 graduating class of 2025. Your name must appear on the list of potential grads for 2025 as of April 1st, 2025.听听
- If you have already purchased a Barley Ring, you will be entered to win back the cost of your ring (equivalent to the cost of a stainless steel ring) via refund.听听
- If you have yet to purchase a Barley Ring, you will be entered to win the cost of your ring (equivalent to the cost of a stainless steel ring) by having it paid for upon order.听听
How to enter

When to enter
The contest is open from March 24th to March 31st. All responses must be received no later than midnight on March 31, 2025. 听
Process
Judges will receive responses for review on Tuesday, April 1. The winner will be announced during Barley Party on April 4. 听
Guidelines
- Each participant may submit only one response. If more than one response is submitted, the latest response will be considered the final response.
- Your response must be a maximum of 300 words.听听
- Although length of responses will not be a judging criterion, judges will look for responses displaying thought and reflection.
- Responses must be written in your own words.听听
- All judge decisions are final. 听
Prize
The winner will receive a Barley Ring (equivalent to the value of a stainless steel ring) for free:
- If you have already purchased a Barley Ring, you will be entered to win back the cost of your ring (equivalent to the value听of a stainless steel ring) via refund.听
- If you have yet to purchase a Barley Ring, you will be entered to win the cost of your ring (equivalent to the value of a stainless steel ring) by having it paid for upon order.
