Staying healthy

  • Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently.
  • Masks are welcome in all campus spaces for anyone looking to add extra protection against illness.
  • Flu shots and updated COVID vaccines are available, and we strongly encourage all members of our Dal community to stay up to date with their shots.

A continued focus on ventilation and air quality helps prevent the transmission of airborne diseases. Dal’s Facilities and Environmental Health & Safety teams reviewed ventilation in every learning space (600+), along with research and office spaces across campus, guided by current engineering best practice as well as with COVID-19 guidance from specific ventilation and facilities groups such as ASHRAE and APPA and REHVA.
