January 22 3 p.m. (Atlantic Time) Immigration Information Session - How to Apply for the Co-op Work Permit This information session/workshop is designed for international students in Canada who are currently enrolled in a degree program that requires a work experience. During the session, participants will learn about the eligibility criteria, required documentation, and step-by-step process for applying for a Co-op work permit online.
January 24-29 Various times Lunar New Year events Various locations Lunar New Year will be celebrated this year on January 29. The International Centre will be celebrating the Year of the Snake with events leading up to New Year's.
January 31 2 p.m. Community Day In person at the IC At the end of the month, we host International Centre Community Day! This will be a time for the International Centre community (e.g. international students, friends, family, etc.) to come together, enjoy a treat, hang out, and chat. Wrap up the month (and the week!) with a hot beverage and donuts.
