Apply Now – University‑Wide Exchange/Study Abroad
There is one application deadline for all university-wide exchange programs (e.g. Fall 2025, Winter 2026, and 2025-2026 full-year exchanges). Applications open on November 1, 2024 and close on January 15, 2025 (9am).
Before you apply, be sure to research Dal’s university-wide exchange options. As part of the application, you will be asked to select a maximum of THREE exchanges, and list them in order of preference. The application also includes a series of short answer questions about your exchange selections and your strengths as an applicant.
For a full list of university-wide exchange partners and available exchange places (by institution), please click on the “Apply Today” button (below).
Please give yourself plenty of time to complete the application. Applications that are received after the deadline will not be considered during the first round of applications. If there are still available exchange places after the first round of applications, there may be a call for a second round of applications.
The application contains a “Save Progress” option, so it’s not necessary to complete the application in one sitting. You can continue to come back to the application until you’re ready to submit.
