How to register for courses

Step 1: Before you begin

The $200 admissions deposit must be paid through  before registering for courses. Pay the deposit at least 24 hours before registration. 

You need to to access Dal Online.

Returning or transfer students must check their registration status in Dal Online to see when they can register. This is also where holdsspecial registration permissions or overrides will appear on your account.

Step 2: Find your courses

First-year students can find courses using the course planning worksheets. If you do not see a course planning worksheet for your faculty or program, check the , your degree audit, or with your faculty.

If you are transferring from another institution or have already begun your studies at Â鶹´«Ã½, start with a degree audit to see how your previous or current courses count toward your requirements and what you need to take next.

Step 3: Create your schedule

The  lists courses offered in a particular term. You can find courses and create your schedule.

Check your acceptance letter or registration status in Dal Online to see when registration is open for you. When it is time to register:
