Student privacy

Student Accounts is often asked to disclose financial information surrounding a student's account by听parents and others听so they can make accurate听tuition payments.

University policy recognizes the financial account as belonging to the student and therefore, in order to protect听student privacy, account information is听considered confidential.

*Please be advised that the Account Authorization is limited to the policy outlined above and does not extend to TouchNet/PayPath payment authorization or authorization with the Registrar鈥檚 Office.

Authorizing access to your account

If you wish to grant permission for financial information to be released to a third party听(such as a parent), you can request authorization by sending an email to听student.accounts@dal.ca听from your听official 麻豆传媒 e-mail address.

In your request, you must include:

• Your full name
• 麻豆传媒 ID (B########)
• Name of the third party, individuals or organizations you are authorizing.
