Lynda joined the Geriatric Medicine Research Lab in April 2023 as a Research Assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in sociology and social anthropology and minors in French and psychology from Â鶹´«Ã½. During her undergraduate years, Lynda was a Research Assistant at the Canine Behavior Laboratory and the Neurocognitive Imaging Laboratory. Lynda also worked as a legal and social interpreter for the Department of Justice and the Department of Social Services under Nova Scotia Interpreting Services. Additionally, she worked as an independent legal interpreter for the Human Resources department at Â鶹´«Ã½. Lynda accumulated over 5 years of experience as an editor for textbook and academic publications. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lynda also volunteered with the department of infectious disease in providing rapid testing services to the public. Now with her current work with the Geriatric Medicine Research Lab, she aims to further her knowledge and skills in the field of medical research.
