WORK ASSIGNMENT:ÌýSeveral TA positions are available (depending on enrolment and COVID-19 requirements) to assist theÌýinstructor with the summer class ENVS 2000.03, Environmental Science Urban Field School, in the fieldÌýand classroom. Duties will include assisting in preparation of class materials and exercises, obtaining,Ìýand preparing field gear and supplies, assisting in teaching duties in the field, providing logistical supportÌýfor trips, and assisting with marking of exercises. This second-year, Environmental Science class willÌýprovide students with hands-on experience in the subject of field methodology across the interdisciplinaryÌýÌýfield of Environmental Science. The class will be held from May 16 to May 27, 2021, Mondays to Fridays,Ìýand TAs must be available for the full day during the course.ÌýThe TAs will also be needed to assist theÌýinstructorÌýwith preparatory workÌýduringÌýthe weekÌýof MayÌý9th,Ìý2022. Ìý
REQUIREMENTSÌýOFÌýPOSITION:ÌýResearch,Ìýteaching,ÌýorÌýrelevantÌýclassÌýwork experienceÌýinÌýanÌýaspectÌýofÌýÌýEnvironmental Science. Schedule must be free every day except weekends (must have no otherÌýcommitments)ÌýfromÌýMay 16 to 27. Experiencewith field work, GIS, and/or statistics is anÌýassetÌý(butÌýnot required). Ìý
