Due to equipment failure, there will be an EMERGENCY STEAM SHUTDOWN this Saturday night, January 20, from 8 p.m. for approximately 12 hours. Â
This will mean there will be NO STEAM, NO HEAT or HOT WATER in the following buildings:
Aquatron
Shirreff Hall
The Life Sciences Building (LSC)
King's College
The National Research Council
Additionally, until the current problem is fixed, there will continue to be no hot water in the LSC.
Housing officials are aware and are looking for alternative solutions.
