Description: The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Â鶹´«Ã½ invites applications for a fulltime 12-month Instructor position commencing 1 July 2017. The duties associated with this position will be equivalent to a seven half-credit course load distributed over a one-year period. Specifically, the Instructor will be responsible for teaching four courses in the Fall term, two courses in the Winter term, and one course in the Spring session. As well the Instructor will assist in the development of on-line labs for PSYO 1021.03 and 1022.03. There will also be some administrative duties within the department as part of this position to be determined by the Chair of the department at the time of hiring.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in psychology and/or neuroscience, expertise in animal behaviour, excellent knowledge of experimental design, and prior teaching experience. Applicants with advanced degrees in other areas (e.g., Biology) with expertise in experimental design and animal behaviour will also be considered for the position.
