PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT: Under the coordination of the Course Instructor, the Part-Time Academic will be responsible for the Developmental topic of the two team-taught introductory classes: Introduction of Psychology and Neuroscience II: From Social Interaction to Psychopathology (PSYO 1012.03), from January 9 – 31, 2018. The classes are offered on TR from 1005-1125 and again from 1135-1255, and the anticipated class size will be approximately 500 students per section. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. This position consults with the Introduction to Psychology and Neuroscience Coordinator and reports to the Chair of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants must have a graduate degree in Psychology, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and have previous experience teaching the class material.

PAY RATE: As per CUPE Collective Agreement
WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Neurobiology of Learning (PSYO/NESC 3043.03), in the Winter Term. The anticipated class size will be approximately 50 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lecture and test preparations, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. A CUPE Marker is provided for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for a third-year class, Behavioural Neuroscience (PSYO/NESC 3770.03) in the Fall term. The class will tentatively be offered on TR from 1605-1725, and the anticipated class size of approximately 80 students. The successful applicant will be responsible for all lectures, test preparation, exam administration (including supplemental examinations), and must be available for two hours per week for student consultation. Teaching assistance is available for this class. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Applicants must have a graduate degree in Psychology or Neuroscience, demonstrated teaching effectiveness, and have previous experience teaching the class material.
