WORK ASSIGNMENT: The part-time academic will be responsible for teaching
SLWK 6381.03 “Social Policy Issues & Analysis for Practice” Section 01 on CAMPUS. The class will be offered in the Fall term, September to December 2016 (Mondays 17:35-20:25 / Room 3111 Mona Campbell). For a full course description, please refer to the 鶹ý Graduate Calendar.
The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including preparing and delivering lectures and preparation and grading of assignments. In addition, the part-time academic should expect to be engaged in course preparations for one-two months preceding course delivery.
REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Educational background with extensive experience in social work (or related fields) is required. The incumbent is also required to have a demonstrated knowledge of social policy, its application to practice, and a critical lens to both. A Master of Social Work degree, or higher, and previous teaching experience is preferred. New part-time academics must be available for training in the Learning Management System (LMS) Brightspace – either in person or online.
