Pay Rate: In accordance to the DFA pay scale
DUTIES:
The instructor is to teach a total of six courses divided between the fall and winter terms plus 1 course in the summer term. The course distribution will be 3+2+1 or 2+3+1 and will include at least 3.0 credit hours of STAT 1060 teaching in each of the fall and winter terms. In addition the instructor will be responsible for the coordination of STAT 1060 in the fall, winter and summer terms. The additional courses taught are to be selected from among the undergraduate Statistics curriculum and all course assignments will be the responsibility of the Chair.
The instructor will also participate in the First Year Science Committee if the Faculty of Science
The instructor reports to the Chair.

QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate must possess a PhD and have experience teaching and coordinating large multi-section statistics classes. Experience with the Minitab and R computer languages is essential, as is previous experience with Brightspace.

DUTIES:
The instructor is to teach a total of six courses divided between the fall, winter and summer sessions (3+2+1 or 2+3+1). The courses will include at least one section of each Math 1000 (Fall term) and Math 1010 (Winter term). The additional courses taught are to be selected from the undergraduate Mathematics curriculum.
The instructor is responsible for all aspects of teaching, grading and administration of the classes and in addition is to be available for three hours per week outside class times for student consultation.
In addition the instructor will be responsible for the coordination of MATH 1000 and MATH 1010 in the fall, winter, and summer sessions. The instructor will also participate in the First Year Science Committee of the Faculty of Science.
The instructor reports to the Chair.
