Casual Employment Position for Student:
Chemistry Stores Assistant
Department of Chemistry

The student will aid in the dispensing of chemicals and supplies from Chemistry Stores and the maintenance of electronic records pertaining to inventory control of chemicals, glassware and consumable items. They will also be required to aid in the provision of technical support in all non-instructional aspects of teaching labs such as the maintenance and cleaning of glassware and scientific equipment and the preparation of solutions from provided instructions.

The primary prerequisite is a desire to learn and work hard, but demonstrated skills in general laboratory work and data entry in spreadsheets would be considered an asset. The ability to work unsupervised is a big plus.

Hours per Week: Up to a maximum of 19
Hourly Wage: $16.00
