July 16-26 is Halifax Pride Week. A week long celebration dedicated to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Questioning, 2 Spirited, and Allies (LGBTTIQQ2SA+; herein referred to as LGBTQ+) persons, featuring events, music and a parade on Saturday.
The Halifax Pride Festival is a celebration, which draws more than 150,000 participants and is Canada’s 4th largest pride festival:

Â鶹´«Ã½ is proud to be a part of the annual Halifax Pride Parade on Saturday, July 25th. If you would like to march with Dal in the parade, please meet at 2240 Valour Way around noon (look for the Dal float).
If you would prefer to cheer from the sidelines, members of the Dal community will be congregating in front of the Architecture building (5410 Spring Garden Rd).
