With summer behind us, this is a good time to remind everyone that Â鶹´«Ã½ has a new Brand Guide and Tool Kit. The tool kit, launched in August, helps us present the university in a fresh, consistent and clear way.

Dal's brand standards are applied across all communication and marketing materials. One of the university’s strategic priorities is to build on our reputation, with the goal of securing a place as one of the world’s top 200 universities. Achieving this will allow us to attract the very best students, faculty, employees, research funding and donors. Consistency in how we present ourselves lets us make the most of our strengths, differentiate ourselves from competitor universities and tell our stories in a compelling way — all of which contribute to enhancing reputation.
The Brand Guide and Tool Kit is built on insights gained from extensive reputation research, an audit of competitor universities and broad consultation. It includes an explanation of the brand, how to use various visual elements, updated designs for business cards and stationery, and new tools such as a PowerPoint template, social media logo, etc.
