Teaching Assistant (TA90) 10 positions
PHYC 1190 – Introduction to Physics
September to December 2014 (Fall Term)

PAY RATE:ÌýÌýÌý As per CUPE Collective Agreement (TA90)

WORK ASSIGNMENT:
The teaching assistant's duties include, but are not limited to:

-ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Respond to students’ requests for assistance; attend specified Resource Centre hours
-ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Mark assignments/tests/exams (including mid-terms and finals) as requested by the instructors; ensure marks are submitted in a timely manner and re-mark if necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:ÌýÌýÌý 3rd/4th years Honours Physics students or current Engineering Graduate students (MSc or PhD stream) who have successfully completed PHYC 1190/1290 (or its equivalent) in high standing (A or better). Must have excellent communication skills in English. Previous TA experience preferred for students working in the Resource Center.
