The Employee Sustainability Leadership Certificate Program (ESLCP) is designed for university employees. Employees participate in six - two-hour modules (delivered in two days) and a final project.
The modules are non-credit courses that are taught by Office of Sustainability employees and guest speakers. The practical component of the program provides participants with an opportunity to put into practice newly understood concepts and techniques by implementing a project and receiving peer feedback.
The modules aim to increase awareness, knowledge, and skills leading to more sustainability-related behaviours in the workplace. All employees have the opportunity to incorporate sustainability concepts and skills into any job on campus through changing office and meeting practices, servicing operational needs, or through instruction. Modules are designed to meet a variety of learning styles. We encourage a mix of occupations and perspectives in our course. Everyone is welcome.
