The Halifax Regional Municipality has an annual volunteer award program that recognizes "the extraordinary contributions of individuals and groups who volunteer their time and skills to provide services and programs in HRM communities".
If you know of anyone that you would like to nominate, please do submit nomination forms directly to the HRM--it would be terrific to have some Â鶹´«Ã½ staff, faculty or students nominated!
If you are interested in nominating an individual or a group, the deadline for nominations is DECEMBER 13.
