Distance courses are taught in an online learning management system known as Blackboard for distance delivery throughout Canada. Distance courses require on-line availability for consultation with students. Responsibilities include all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test preparation, and evaluation of tests and reports. The part-time academic should expect to be engaged in employment for two months preceding course delivery for course preparations. REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: Educational background in social work with extensive experience in social work (or related fields) is required.
