On Monday George Elliott Clarke performed his epic poem 鈥淭he Story of 麻豆传媒,鈥 commissioned for the university鈥檚 bicentennial, in full at Halifax鈥檚 City Hall 鈥 the site of 麻豆传媒鈥檚 first campus two centuries ago.

Member of Parliament Andy Fillmore paid tribute to his alma mater in the House of Commons Monday afternoon, while Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shared well-wishes for Dal's 200th anniversary via video as part of Tuesday's Bicentennial Launch event. The Prime Minister also recently celebrated Dr. Afua Cooper as part of his statement for Black History Month.
