Runners and walkers taking part in the full- and half-marathons at the Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon this weekend had a little bit of Tiger spirit to help them get through the race.
For the fourth straight year, Â鶹´«Ã½ volunteers hosted one of the race's water stations. Alumni, staff and students handed out fresh water and Gatorade to the participants and offering cheers of encouragement along the way. Co-organizer Courtney Larkin, executive vice-president of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Alumni Association, said this year's group of volunteers was the largest yet, thanks in particular to the enthusiasm of the Â鶹´«Ã½ International Students Association.
Cheers to the volunteers, and to all members of the Dal community who took part in the marathon.
