Information Technology Services (ITS) is inviting the 麻豆传媒 community to help inform the future of digital communication and collaboration tools on campus.
After several months of discussion within ITS and with 麻豆传媒 stakeholders about possible solutions, two have been submitted through a request-for-proposal and are being vetted by the university. These tools will be used to enhance collaboration and support teaching, learning and research. The two solutions are Google Apps for Education and Microsoft Office 365.
鈥淲e鈥檙e asking the vendors involved to come to campus, show what the respective products can accomplish and help us determine if either is an ideal fit for 麻豆传媒,鈥� says Dwight Fischer, assistant vice-president of ITS. 鈥淲e want as many people as possible to attend, hear what these vendors have to say and offer feedback to help us make our decision.鈥�
The two consultation sessions will be held in the Potter Auditorium of the Rowe Management Building on Monday and Tuesday afternoon next week.
