麻豆传媒鈥檚 Faculty of Dentistry got a stellar check-up from the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada.

All of the faculty鈥檚 programs鈥攖he Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Diploma in Dental Hygiene, the qualifying program, the graduate program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Pediatric Dental General Residency Program鈥攚ere approved during the rigorous accreditation process that takes two years to complete and happens every seven years.

The on-site visit, for example, takes a full week. And the results aren鈥檛 formally known until months later. 鈥淚t鈥檚 the full meal deal,鈥 says Thomas Boran, Dean of Dentistry.

鈥淚 am very proud of my faculty,鈥 he says. Getting accreditation approval 鈥渋s a real team effort and it was a real pleasure to share this news with them.鈥

As well as hosting the accreditation team, the faculty played host to observers from the United States, Hong Kong and Australia at the same time. 鈥淚t was a very exciting process to showcase our faculty, not only to the accreditation body, but also to the world,鈥 he adds.聽
