You鈥檇 turn over your canned goods too if a giant needle came to your door.

Hundreds of costumed 麻豆传媒 students鈥攊ncluding one dressed as the H1N1 vaccine鈥攖urned out for this year鈥檚 Trick or Eat food drive on Halloween night.聽In total, 262 students聽collected more than 4,500 food items for Feed Nova Scotia.

鈥淲e filled up every cart we had and then some,鈥 said Michelle Honsberger, a student organizer with Meal Exchange. Many student societies and sororities took part. 鈥淭he turnout was amazing. A one point, the students were lining up in the Rowe, out the building and around the corner.鈥

Residents were alerted to the food drive through door hangers distributed throughout south-end Halifax聽and they had their donations ready.

鈥淲e ran into a few grumps, but for the most part, the neighbours were really, really positive,鈥 she added.
