Dr. Kuan Xu has been appointed to a three-year term as Chairperson of the
Department effective July 1, 2013. He succeeds Lars Osberg who completed his
second 3-year term at the end of June. We thank Lars sincerely for his strong
leadership and great service over the last six years. We wish Kuan great success
in his new position as Chairperson.
