As more people get vaccinated and it feels like there’s a bit of light at the end of the tunnel, individuals and organizations are starting to consider what going back to the office will look like. Most organizations have realized that work can be completed just as efficiently from home as the office. So,  that are flexible, inclusive, and supported with the right technology are a hot topic of discussion.Â
One thing that is not being talked about as much is how we prepare to function in either a hybrid environment or any other workplace scenario. It’s been over a year now that most of us have been working in very different circumstances, whether you have remained in an in-person environment or have been working remotely. Things have been very unusual.
Going back can be anxiety-provoking on a completely new level. This presents another change in how we work, how we communicate with each other, how we present ourselves, yet continue to be as productive as we have been over the past year. We will need to be agile in our communication. There may be new employees, of course returning ones, and some that have left. You may have a new or different team, or a hybrid environment that needs you to remember how to function in-person, as well as not forgetting how to work virtually.Â
°Õ³ó±ðÌý can help you get ready to go back to whatever iteration your work presents. Get yourself ready – only you can make the decision. Future-proof your skills by becoming aware of your own values, judgements and stress reactions because those have changed over the past year. Learn how to present virtually, improve your writing skills, develop an understanding of working with different generations, and work on your professional presence. Get yourself ready for the future of work because it will be a different place than before.
