Every March, the Rowe School of Business holds a volunteer tax clinic, where Commerce students get a chance to apply their knowledge of tax and accounting while helping students and other Halifax community members file their tax returns. The clinic is a chance for them to learn from accounting professionals and get real-world experience. This year, 30 volunteers helped over 200 Halifax community members.
Faculty organizers Jenny Zhang and Kyla MacInnis would like to thank community partners MNP, Baker Tilly and Grant Thornton, which volunteered to mentor and assist this year's Commerce students.Â
