Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s School of Nursing has been a designated PAHO/WHO Collaborating Centre since 2008. The Centre has supported health workforce strengthening initiatives being conducted by PAHO and WHO globally, with specific focus in the Caribbean.Â
Mandate: To support PAHO and WHO in building capacity in needs-based health workforce strengthening and planning, aligned with PAHO’s and WHO’s Strategic Objective to Strengthen Health Systems.
Terms of Reference (TOR):
TOR1:   At the request of PAHO/WHO, the  institution will provide technical inputs that inform PAHO/WHO’s work on health workforce strengthening strategies and policies, including planning and evaluation, as and when requested by PAHO/WHO.
TOR2:  At the request of PAHO/WHO, the institution will support PAHO and WHO on the implementation of global and regional policies and strategies on health workforce strengthening, as and when requested by PAHO/WHO.
