When Bruce Johnson (BScPHā€™74) decided to attend the Ā鶹“«Ć½ College of Pharmacy more than 40 years ago, he didnā€™t realize heā€™d be making history as the first black Nova Scotian to graduate from the College in the province.

To say Canadaā€™s CPHO (Chief Public Health Officer) Dr. Theresa Tam is busy these days would be an understatement. Dr. Tam is the lead health professional in the country and advises Canadaā€™s public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Recently, Ā鶹“«Ć½ Faculty of Healthā€™s Dr. Sherry Huybers (School of Health and Human Performance) was pleasantly surprised to get kudos and a personal thank you from Dr. Tam.
