The 鶹ý Agricultural Campus was recently acknowledged for its collective efforts in partnering with Public Health during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Led by Carolyn Bartlett, Student Success, the 鶹ý Agricultural Campus provided support in a myriad if ways including:
- space on campus
- providing volunteers in many roles for multiple immunization clinics
- actively participating in testing for covid-19 (training staff to provide on-site covid testing initially with in person testing and then with rapid test kit distribution)
- actively participating and circulating information/ awareness
- supporting Public Health messaging
- following practices to keep campus healthy (students, staff and faculty)
- handwashing, distancing, sneeze and cough etiquette, and staying home when sick.
All departments came together to make this happen.
“This is yet another reason to be proud of this campus, and is a beautiful acknowledgement of how others see how we care for our people and our community,” added Carolyn.
