Boots 鈥榥鈥 Blooms is an annual tradition on the Agricultural Campus 鈥 a day of 鈥渟weat equity鈥 where the Ag community鈥檚 鈥榞reen thumb鈥 volunteers come together to freshen up many of the gardens around campus 鈥 just in time for prom and wedding season.
This event is rooted in collaboration and team work. Boots 'n Blooms is a testament to the Friends of the Garden, a mighty group of volunteers who have donated countless hours of their time over the last decade to help maintain the gardens on campus.
After a hiatus the past two years due to extensive construction on campus, the event is being resurrected this year on Friday, June 21, 2019 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
The event will focus on Alumni Gardens, one of our original showcase gardens in preparation for the upcoming prom and wedding season.
Staff and faculty members are encouraged to round up a team and register at agnews@dal.ca with the subject line : Boots
