Members of the Faculty of Agriculture (faculty, staff and graduate students) are invited to attend the inaugural symposium on teaching/learning innovations in Agri-Education. Come learn what colleagues on our campus are doing. It promises to be a stimulating time of both sharing and discussion!!
The morning starts off with coffee (plan to arrive 9:50 to sign in and get your coffee/tea). The day will feature 8 different innovations using a 6 minute ‘snapper’ format. There will be time to allow Q&A and more detailed discussion with the innovators after the presentations. Topics include Ruminate, Cultiv8, model online course development at Dal-AC, using demonstration farms and the Chef’s Gardens in teaching, cats, cows and much more (you don’t expect us to give away all the secrets do you?!)
The Dean has graciously agreed to provide a working lunch for the first 40 registrants.Â
