On June 3rd, the invites you to the release of Halifax’s first ever food assessment report – Food Counts. This benchmark research compiles 70 different aspects of food in Halifax and lays the foundation for building a healthy, just and sustainable food system.Â
Food is everybody’s issue, but the way that we design and plan our cities impacts community food security, including personal, economic, ecological, and political health. Cities are at the forefront of a growing food movement across North America and globally.
Join us to learn more about the current state of food in Halifax, including gaps and opportunities for change.
