This Wednesday, Megan Balodi and Krilen Ramanaidu TruLeaf Sustainable Agriculture willÌý talk about their professional journeys includingTruLeaf company introduction, team members, their first plant factoryÌýsystem design, challenges, adaptations, glimpse of the new system, current work, andÌýfuture direction.
Megan Balodis is a plant scientist who graduated from Â鶹´«Ã½ in 2013 with a Master of Science, and previously NSAC with a BSc Agr in Plant Science.Ìý Megan's previous background is in weed management and biological control, but at TruLeaf she is responsible for conducting research in the areas of yield, product quality, plant lighting, and assists the company in translating data into business modeling and system design.
Krilen Ramanaidu holds a Master of Science in AgriBiology from Â鶹´«Ã½, and is TruLeaf's farm design specialist.Ìý His expertise include greenhouse horticulture, plant protection, controlled environment systems, pest management, and intensive data collection, monitoring and analysis.Ìý Krilen's role at TruLeaf revolves around system design, and integrating production experience with engineering requirements.Ìýincluding TruLeaf company introduction, team members, their first plant factoryÌýsystem design, challenges, adaptations, glimpse of the new system, current work andÌýfuture direction.
