Students from the Faculty of Agriculture’s Urban Tree Management course, under the direction of Professor Carol Goodwin, prepared a written and verbal submission to the Minister of Environment regarding the environmental goals and sustainable prosperity act in early February, 2012.

Chad Bent, Middleton, NS, a first year B.Sc.(Agr.) Pre Vet student was selected as the 2012 recipient of the $1,000 RBC Financial Group Entrance Scholarship.

The $1,000 Acadian Seaplants Limited Scholarship is presented annually to a senior undergraduate or graduate aquaculture student at the Â鶹´«Ã½ Faculty of Agriculture preferably undertaking course or project work related to aspects of marine bioproducts or the plant sciences

Mrs. Greta Mathewson and daughter, Ruth, presented the Bill Mathewson Memorial Bursary to Regan Schwartz, Mississauga, ON, a first year B.Sc.(Agr.) Pre Vet student.
